Alexander Zverev has advanced to his 11th ATP Masters 1000 final and first since 2022. On Friday, Zverev defeated Alejandro Tabilo 1-6 7-6 6-2 in the semifinals of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia in Rome. The match started at 13:00 PM on May 17th.

Zverev started the match slowly, losing the first set 6-1. However, he rallied in the second set, winning a tiebreaker to take the set 7-6. Zverev continued his momentum in the third set, breaking Tabilo's serve twice to win the set 6-2 and clinch the match.

Zverev will now face Carlos Alcaraz in the final on Sunday. Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic in the other semifinal. The final will be a rematch of the 2022 Madrid Open final, which Alcaraz won in three sets.
